What Makes Our Rain Room Special

Our rain room is our most popular set. Check out what makes it so special and how you can shoot in the rain room.

The Reflection Pool

The basin of the rain room is a 3" reflection pool. The lighting is set to get you awesome reflections. We usually start with shooting in just the pool before we turn on the rain so we get the serene reflections in the water.

The Rain System

Our rain system is set up with an overhead system to allow you to stand behind falling water and not have it constantly pelt you in the head for the duration of your shoot. The illusion is that there is rain all around you, but in reality, you are not getting hit with rain if you don't want to.

The Lighting

The rain room is surrounded on 3 sides with soft diffusion panels to let different colored lights through. The backlighting system lets you get incredible reflections in the reflection pool.

Blood

We can also fill it with about 200 gallons of fake blood...

Forest Nymph Backdrop

We have a forest backdrop we can set up to give you a misty jungle water look.

How to Book the Rain Room

We do not have the rain room up every day. It is a temporary set that we build a few times a year. It takes a few hours to setup. It takes a few hours to take down. All of the parts need to hang dry for 2 days before it gets put away for storage. So, when we do build it, we keep it up for about 2 weeks and during that time, we do nothing but rain room shoots in the studio because it takes up so much space. We can only do one shoot a day because of the time it takes to heat the water and clean it after each use.

It sells out every time we have it up. If you'd like to be put on the waitlist to be notified about the next time we're going to have it up, fill out the form below and let us know you want to be on the rain room waitlist.
